Humanity’s greatest invention – the wheel, the printing press, the internet? No, of course not. It’s the portable toilet! How could any of us enjoy our trailer parks, camping trips, or boating excursions without the portable toilet?
And since you agree with us (otherwise, you would have left this page long ago), we’d like to give you some free advice on how to take good care of your portable potty.
Portable Toilet Maintenance
It’s time to get regular. Regular maintenance, that is. You’re going to need to empty and clean the toilet on a frequent basis.
Emptying the portable toilet
How to empty:
– to make toilet emptying easier, it’s best to keep the contents semi-liquid by adding water
Where to empty:
– dumping stations can usually be found at RV sites
– use biodegradable bags and dispose of
When to empty:
– don’t wait until it’s full before dumping
Making maintenance easier
Use noflex digestor to reduce odours and simplify disposal. Since it’s a biodegradable deodorant, it can be properly disposed of (outdoors or in a landfill, when using biodegradable bags). Noflex also breaks down the solids in the portable toilet, greatly ease disposal of the waste.
